Blitz were a blues rock band I discovered when they supported UFO on their 1976 tour. There were rumours that they were blowing UFO off the stage, and after hearing them I could see why. Although I took my camera to take pictures of UFO, I was so impressed with Blitz I took these photos of them as well. Unfortunately, I never got to see them again.Lead guitarist Graham Foster went on to form the more successful Foster Brothers, who had a hit with 'Count Me Out' in 1977. After the group split up, Graham continued to record and play with various artists. He now spends most of his time in Spain, and is still invlolved in music scene with his latest group the Graham Foster Band. |
